Valentine\u2019s Day is getting closer and we invite to celebrate it with Dance. Two premiers from two outstanding Cuban dance companies. On one side, Danza Contemporanea de Cuba with Mas alla del polvo, a world premiere by Cuban choreographer and dancer Miguel Altunaga. On the other hand, Acosta Danza, lead by Carlos Acosta with this new season Mitos, starting in Havana and continuing with a tour all over the Island. You can\u2019t miss anything of this.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ll keep moving with Music cause, what a better way to fall in love? Look down the presentations and the artist of your preference and book the date. We bring everything for everyone. In Visual Arts, La Marca is celebrating its third anniversary. Check that out and join them. In Literature, there are still some proposals from the International Havana Book Fair. Danza Contemporanea opening<\/h3>\n

From today until Sunday, Danza Contemporanea returns to the Great Theater of Havana, this time with Mas alla del polvo, a world premier by Cuban choreographer and dancer Miguel Altunaga.<\/p>\n

They will also perform again Equilux, by British Fleur Darkin, presented last November in Mella Theater.<\/p>\n

Mitos by Acosta Danza<\/em><\/h3>\n

Acosta Danza will perform from today until Sunday in Avellaneda Hall on the National Theater. The new season, named Mitos, will have four premieres in Cuba with important international choreographers. \u201cImpronta\u201d and \u201cEl salto del Nijinsky\u201d by Catalan Maria Rovira. Duo \u201cMermaid\u201d by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui. \u201cRooster\u201d, an original ballet by English Christopher Bruce with eight well known Rolling Stones songs. With these two last plays the audience in Avellaneda Hall will enjoy Carlos Acosta return to the stage.<\/p>\n

To complete these presentations it will be \u201cImponderable\u201d by Spanish Goyo Montero. Season \u201cMitos\u201d will open a wide program of Acosta Danza presentations for 2018 with a national tour, several world premieres and important international guests.<\/p>\n
