The Literature Nobel Prize-winning,\u00a0Gabriel\u00a0Garc\u00eda\u00a0M\u00e1rquez,\u00a0will be\u00a0honored at\u00a0a cultural activity\u00a0that\u00a0will take place on\u00a0November 14\u00a0and 15 in Havana’s\u00a0Casa de las\u00a0Americas,\u00a0Gustavo\u00a0Adolfo\u00a0Bell, ambassador of\u00a0Colombia\u00a0in\u00a0Cuba,\u00a0said.<\/p>\n
This\u00a0new tribute\u00a0is due\u00a0to all that\u00a0the Caribbean,\u00a0and especially\u00a0Cuba,\u00a0has meant in the life\u00a0and work of\u00a0Gabo,\u00a0“who taught\u00a0Colombians to\u00a0rediscover\u00a0ourselves\u00a0in a more Caribbean\u00a0dimension,” he stated.<\/p>\n
Bell\u00a0announced that\u00a0the attendees could enjoy\u00a0a series of\u00a0panels that collect\u00a0passages\u00a0which demonstrate\u00a0the presence of\u00a0the region\u00a0in Garc\u00eda\u00a0M\u00e1rquez\u00b4s universe,\u00a0while\u00a0it will also be\u00a0exhibitedillustrations of\u00a0his literary work\u00a0as part of\u00a0a contest\u00a0involving some\u00a0300\u00a0artists.<\/p>\n
