{"id":199621,"date":"2019-05-29T12:55:12","date_gmt":"2019-05-29T16:55:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/oncubanews.com\/en\/?p=199621"},"modified":"2019-05-29T12:56:27","modified_gmt":"2019-05-29T16:56:27","slug":"cuban-foreign-minister-now-in-china","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/oncubanews.com\/en\/cuba\/cuban-foreign-minister-now-in-china\/","title":{"rendered":"Cuban foreign minister now in China"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez began this Tuesday a visit to Beijing to discuss bilateral issues with his Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi, at a time when both countries are strengthening their diplomatic and economic relations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rodriguez&#8217; visit to China, at the invitation of Wang, will continue until Thursday 30 and during the meeting both foreign ministers will analyze &#8220;the progress of bilateral relations and matters of common interest,&#8221; <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cubadebate.cu\/noticias\/2019\/05\/27\/canciller-cubano-bruno-rodriguez-visitara-china-del-28-al-30-mayo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">according to<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> the <em>Cubadebate<\/em> website, which quoted a spokesman from the Chinese Foreign Ministry.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The head of Cuba&#8217;s diplomacy completed a three-day official visit to Moscow, where he met with his Russian counterpart, Sergei Lavrov.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Both ministers denounced the &#8220;unilateral coercive measures&#8221; of the United States against the two countries, especially the embargo against the island, and Washington&#8217;s policy toward Venezuela.
