Photo: Yander Zamora \/ EFE.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Another of the highlights of the show and premiere in Cuba is <em>La enfermedad del domingo<\/em>, for which last year Susi S\u00e1nchez won the Goya for best leading actress.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">S\u00e1nchez told <em>EFE<\/em> that in the seventh art &#8220;Cuba is a benchmark for Spain and always has been,&#8221; and recalled that &#8220;Cuban film schools have always been very famous&#8221; and &#8220;many filmmakers have trained here in film schools.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The actress presented <em>La enfermedad del domingo<\/em> with another of its protagonists, B\u00e1rbara Lennie, who also brought to Havana the film <em>El reino<\/em> (2018), another award-winning film by director Rodrigo Sorogoyen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;I really wanted to get to know the city, to try to understand this country that I think is not easy, to share the films with the people from here and see how they are received, since La enfermedad del domingo is a very a priori European film and a portrait of a very Spanish political class,&#8221; reflected Lennie, winner of the Goya for best actress in 2014 for <em>Magical Girl<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"jeg_video_container jeg_video_content\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"La Enfermedad del Domingo [2018] TR\u00c1ILER Oficial en ESPA\u00d1OL\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ZvYOtj2VXT4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For her part, Aura Garrido presented <em>La reconquista<\/em> (2016), directed by Jon\u00e1s Trueba, and <em>El d\u00eda de ma\u00f1ana<\/em> (2018), Mariano Barroso&#8217;s miniseries set in the Barcelona of the 1960s.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;That our cinema and television can be seen outside our borders is always interesting. The cultural exchange is always enriching,&#8221; assured the protagonist of<em> El ministerio del tiempo<\/em>, a series that has also monopolized interest in Cuba.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The feature films <em>Carmen y Lola<\/em> (Arantxa Echevarria, 2018), <em>Los d\u00edas que vendr\u00e1n<\/em> (Carlos Marqu\u00e9s-Marcet, 2019), Bu\u00f1uel en <em>El laberinto de las tortugas<\/em> (Salvador Sim\u00f3 Busom, 2018) and the series <em>El d\u00eda de ma\u00f1ana<\/em> (Mariano Barroso, 2018) and <em>Arde Madrid\u00a0<\/em>(Paco Le\u00f3n and Anna R.
