Photo: Juan Carlos Hidalgo \/ EFE.\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The ambassador of Spain to Cuba, Juan Fern\u00e1ndez Trigo, and his Cuban counterpart in Madrid, Gustavo Mach\u00edn, boarded the aircraft to greet Felipe VI and Do\u00f1a Letizia before they descended the plane\u2019s steps.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Waiting for them at the foot of steps was Bruno Rodriguez, who first greeted the king with a long handshake and then the queen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He also subsequently shook the hand of Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs Josep Borrell, who is accompanying the monarchs on this visit.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The director of Europe of the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Alba Soto, and the official in charge of Spain in the same department, Miguel Mor\u00e9, were also part of the delegation of Cuban authorities who received the king and queen.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"es\" dir=\"ltr\">Arriban a <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/LaHabana?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#LaHabana<\/a>\u00a0Sus Majestades, Felipe VI, Rey de Espa\u00f1a y la Reina Do\u00f1a Letizia Ortiz Rocasolano.
