Of their totality, 40 had contact with confirmed cases and 6 did not have a specific source of infection.<\/p>\n<p>Of these, 25 were men, 21 women and the most affected age groups continue to be: under 40 years old, with 52.1% of cases, followed by the group between 40 and 60 years old (26.0%); 30 people were asymptomatic.<\/p>\n<p>The residence by province and municipality of the 46 new cases of contagion is:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pinar del R\u00edo: 15 (14 from Guane municipality and one from Pinar del R\u00edo).<\/li>\n<li>Havana: 17 (5 from Guanabacoa municipality; Habana del Este and Centro Habana, 3 each; Playa and Marianao, 2 each; Boyeros and Diez de Octubre, 1 each).<\/li>\n<li>Matanzas: 4 (Matanzas, Pedro Betancourt, Col\u00f3n and C\u00e1rdenas municipalities with 1 each).<\/li>\n<li>Villa Clara: 7 (5 from Santa Clara municipality and 2 from Placetas).<\/li>\n<li>Santiago de Cuba: 1 (from Santiago de Cuba municipality).<\/li>\n<li>Guant\u00e1namo: 1 (from Guant\u00e1namo municipality).<\/li>\n<li>Isla de la Juventud Special Municipality: 1.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The three deaths correspond to two men and one woman. In the case of the woman, it is a resident of Cerro, 86 years old. She had a history of bronchial asthma and senile dementia and spent 7 days in intensive care.<\/p>\n<p>The men: one was 74 years old and resided in El Cotorro, Havana, and had a history of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and bronchial asthma. Meanwhile, the other was from Guant\u00e1namo, 87 years old, with a history of high blood pressure, ischemic heart disease, idiopathic ulcerative colitis, and follow-up by the urology department for suspected prostatic carcinoma.<\/p>\n<p>The details of the evolution of the three cases are collected in <a href=\"https:\/\/salud.msp.gob.cu\/?p=4927&amp;fbclid=IwAR2P94W_0ipHu8mQFxXHR-6X1hV2sbhB9sMXy-WU_44JXYK8i7EN3dZjOSM\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the MINSAP report <\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The number of medical discharges reached 365, with 24 yesterday; 10 patients are in critical condition and four in serious condition.<\/p>\n<p>At the close of yesterday, April 22, 3,359 people were admitted to hospitals for clinical epidemiological surveillance, while another 5,681 were receiving surveillance in their homes through the primary health care system.
