Of that total, 37 were detected in Havana and, according to Dr. Francisco Dur\u00e1n, national director of epidemiology, \u201care related to three transmission events\u201d already reported yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>They are the result of events detected in the La \u00c9poca shopping center, which led to others in the AICA Laboratories and in the Ministry of Domestic Trade\u2019s National Transportation Enterprise.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"es\" dir=\"ltr\">Se confirmaron 38 nuevos casos de <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/COVID19?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#COVID19<\/a>, para un acumulado de 2083 en <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Cuba?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Cuba<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u25aa172 positivos activos<br \/>\u25aa169 con evoluci\u00f3n cl\u00ednica estable<br \/>\u25aa0 pacientes en estado cr\u00edtico<br \/>\u25aa3 pacientes en estado grave<br \/>\u25aa83 fallecidos<br \/>\u25aa1826 altas<br \/>\u25aa2 evacuados<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/xQsI0WBH3M\">https:\/\/t.co\/xQsI0WBH3M<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/eiumcqWy25\">pic.twitter.com\/eiumcqWy25<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Ministerio de Salud P\u00fablica de Cuba (@MINSAPCuba) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MINSAPCuba\/status\/1267447081473622017?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 1, 2020<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>For these reasons, the distribution of infections in Havana is as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>14 in the municipality of La Lisa.<\/li>\n<li>7 in Old Havana municipality.<\/li>\n<li>Playa and Marianao, 4 each.<\/li>\n<li>3 in Arroyo Naranjo municipality.<\/li>\n<li>2 in the municipality of Diez de Octubre.<\/li>\n<li>San Miguel del Padr\u00f3n, Regla and Cerro, 1 each.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The other contagion was reported from the provincial capital of Matanzas.<\/p>\n<p>All the new cases correspond to Cubans; 36 were related to detected patients and the source of infection was not specified in only two individuals.<\/p>\n<p>This time the number of women (24-14) exceeds that of men, and the most affected age groups were: under 40, with 19 sick individuals, followed by that of 40 to 60, with 15; 86.84% of those detected until midnight yesterday were asymptomatic.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"cQWxQ874LN\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/oncubanews.com\/cuba\/evento-de-transmision-de-covid-19-en-tienda-la-epoca-acumula-16-enfermos\/\">Evento de transmisi\u00f3n de Covid-19 en tienda La \u00c9poca acumula 16 enfermos<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute; clip: rect(1px, 1px, 1px, 1px);\" title=\"\u00abEvento de transmisi\u00f3n de Covid-19 en tienda La \u00c9poca acumula 16 enfermos\u00bb \u2014 OnCubaNews\" src=\"https:\/\/oncubanews.com\/cuba\/evento-de-transmision-de-covid-19-en-tienda-la-epoca-acumula-16-enfermos\/embed\/#?secret=4qqAOPLUaT#?secret=cQWxQ874LN\" data-secret=\"cQWxQ874LN\" width=\"500\" height=\"282\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>With Sunday\u2019s 17 medical discharges, the number of patients recovered from the new coronavirus amounts to 1,826 people on the island.
