{"id":224383,"date":"2020-07-14T13:48:08","date_gmt":"2020-07-14T17:48:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/oncubanews.com\/en\/?p=224383"},"modified":"2020-07-14T13:49:27","modified_gmt":"2020-07-14T17:49:27","slug":"areas-of-havana-with-outbreaks-of-coronavirus-no-longer-in-phase-1-of-de-escalation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/oncubanews.com\/en\/cuba\/areas-of-havana-with-outbreaks-of-coronavirus-no-longer-in-phase-1-of-de-escalation\/","title":{"rendered":"Areas of Havana with outbreaks of coronavirus no longer in phase 1 of de-escalation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/oncubanews.com\/contribute\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em><strong>Help us keep OnCuba alive<\/strong><\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Several areas of Havana with outbreaks of <a href=\"https:\/\/oncubanews.com\/tag\/coronavirus\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">coronavirus<\/a> and \u201cunder reinforced isolation measures\u201d are no longer in phase 1 of the post-COVID-19 recovery along with the rest of the city, according to Luis Antonio Torres Ir\u00edbar , president of the Provincial Defense Council (CDP).<\/p>\n<p>In a meeting of that government body, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tribuna.cu\/coronavirus\/2020-07-13\/la-batalla-por-la-vida-debe-acompanarse-de-producir-y-dar-servicios\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reported<\/a> on by the local press, Torres Ir\u00edbar noted that \u201cthe province in general is in phase 1\u201d of the de-escalation, but that communities such as Los Sitios, Amistad, Pilar-Atar\u00e9s and Lawton, where cases have been reported in recent days, are not in this phase, \u201cbut have gone back to a scenario of COVID-19 confrontation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>To these areas he also added a part of San Francisco de Paula, Cuatro Caminos del Cotorro and Lechuga-Marrero, in Arroyo Naranjo, the latter as a way of prophylaxis, taking into account its concomitance with the municipality of Cotorro and the province of Mayabeque, which recently have also registered cases.<\/p>\n<p>The president of the CDP said that \u201cthe guard cannot be lowered,\u201d and that the established measures have to be demanded and controlled by the local authorities. In this way, Havana already has 1,362 positive cases detected through the 108,401 PCR tests carried out in the city, which represents a confirmation of 1.3%.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the total incidence rate is 63.8 per 100,000 inhabitants, with seven municipalities above the provincial average: Cotorro, Centro Habana, Cerro, Regla, Habana del Este, La Lisa and Old Havana.
