Cuba added nine cases of <\/span>coronavirus<\/span><\/a> at the close of this Saturday, three of them imported, bringing the total number of people infected with SARS-CoV-2 on the island to 2,478.<\/span><\/p>\n

No deaths were reported and there were four discharges. Thus, the number of fatal victims of COVID-19 in Cuba remains at 87 and that of recovered patients amounted to 2,345, more than 94% of those infected to date, <\/span>according to<\/span><\/a> the Cuban Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP).<\/span><\/p>\n

Of the new infections, five are from Havana\u2015one of them with a source of infection abroad, and who was in isolation\u2015, two are from the province of Artemisa, and the remaining two are from the provinces of Cienfuegos and Granma, in both cases people who arrived from abroad who were quarantined in centers established for this.<\/span><\/p>\n
