{"id":227287,"date":"2020-09-09T14:29:13","date_gmt":"2020-09-09T18:29:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/oncubanews.com\/en\/?p=227287"},"modified":"2020-09-09T14:29:13","modified_gmt":"2020-09-09T18:29:13","slug":"spanish-company-to-start-operations-in-mariel-special-zone","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/oncubanews.com\/en\/cuba\/spanish-company-to-start-operations-in-mariel-special-zone\/","title":{"rendered":"Spanish company to start operations in Mariel Special Zone"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Spanish company TOT COLOR SA, dedicated to the manufacture of solvent-based paints, will begin its operations \u201cduring the month of September\u201d in the <a href=\"https:\/\/oncubanews.com\/tag\/zona-especial-de-desarrollo-mariel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mariel Special Development Zone (ZEDM)<\/a>, Cuba\u2019s main project to attract foreign capital.<\/p>\n<p>The construction of the company\u2019s administrative partner building has already been concluded and \u201cthe last details of the preparation for the start-up are being adjusted\u201d now, the ZEDM <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zedmariel.com\/es\/novedades\/tot-color-sa-calienta-los-motores-para-la-puesta-en-marcha\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">said<\/a> on its digital site.<\/p>\n<p>The official information affirms that the modern plant of TOT COLOR S.A. \u201cis equipped with a technology that meets world standards\u201d and is \u201can ecofriendly enterprise, using low volumes of water and energy, in addition to exhibiting optimal efficiency in waste treatment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Its future productions already have \u201ca high demand from important business clients\u201d on the island, including the Cimex corporation, the state organization Cuba-Petr\u00f3leo (Cupet), and the Transtur tourism transportation enterprise.
