There were no imported infections.<\/p>\n<p>By age group, the largest amount of patients is registered, as usual, in the groups of 20 to 39 years, with 36 cases this time; followed by those from 40 to 59, with 27. Six patients had not reached 20 and four were over 60.<\/p>\n<p>Medical discharges were limited to 15, while 17 people remained in intensive care: five in critical condition and 12 seriously ill.<\/p>\n<p>The details of the Ciego de \u00c1vila victim are explained in the <a href=\"https:\/\/salud.msp.gob.cu\/parte-de-cierre-del-dia-15-de-septiembre-a-las-12-de-la-noche\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">report issued today by the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP)<\/a>, the pandemic\u2019s death toll on the island reaches 109.<\/p>\n<p>At midnight on September 15, 1,783 people were hospitalized for clinical epidemiological surveillance.<\/p>\n<p>After yesterday\u2019s 7,939 samples, Cuba has processed a total of 508,224 tests in search of the new
