September is nearing its end and the effects of the <\/span>SARS-CoV-2 virus<\/span><\/a> seem to vary slightly, although the new contagions have remained at the same number during the last two days: 40 contagions were also reported today, but only from Havana and Ciego de \u00c1vila, according to the health authorities.<\/span><\/p>\n

For Dr. Francisco Dur\u00e1n, the tendency is to regain control of the disease and, from what he said, six provinces have not reported cases for more than 15 days: Pinar del R\u00edo, Las Tunas, Villa Clara, Granma, Santiago de Cuba and Guant\u00e1namo. In addition to these, the special municipality Isla de la Juventud also has not reported infections in the last two weeks.<\/span><\/p>\n

All the cases today are autochthonous and correspond to Cubans: 39 of them had contact with confirmed cases and the source of infection is not specified in only one individual.<\/span><\/p>\n
