Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodr\u00edguez spoke by phone with his Somalian counterpart, Ahmed Isse Awad, about the two <\/span>Cuban doctors kidnapped<\/span><\/a> almost a year and six months ago, while working in Kenya.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI had a telephone conversation with Somalian Foreign Minister Mr. Ahmed Isse Awad. I appreciated the support and efforts of his government to guarantee the safe return of our kidnapped doctors,\u201d the island\u2019s minister of foreign affairs published on his Twitter account.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rodr\u00edguez also wrote that during the dialogue with his Somalian counterpart, \u201cthe will to strengthen bilateral ties between the two governments\u201d was highlighted.<\/span><\/p>\n
