The Cuban health authorities reported 48 new cases of coronavirus<\/a> and no deaths from the disease on the last day of October. In addition, this Saturday there were 44 discharges.<\/p>\n

In this way, the number of people detected with COVID-19 in Cuba rose to 6,935, 0.82% of the total diagnostic tests performed, while the number of fatalities remained at 128; 6,289 cases have already recovered, representing 90.6% of all the sick so far registered on the island.<\/p>\n

According to the report<\/a> by the Cuban Ministry of Public Health, 3,701 patients had been hospitalized for epidemiological clinical surveillance until the end of October 31. Of these, 929 are suspects, 2,256 are under surveillance and 516 have been confirmed.<\/p>\n

Of the latter, 512 have a stable clinical condition, while four patients, three critically ill and one seriously ill, were reported. In addition, the number of evacuated patients has remained at two since the beginning of the pandemic.<\/p>\n
