{"id":229964,"date":"2020-11-04T20:17:49","date_gmt":"2020-11-05T01:17:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/oncubanews.com\/en\/?p=229964"},"modified":"2020-11-04T20:17:49","modified_gmt":"2020-11-05T01:17:49","slug":"cuba-with-109-new-coronavirus-infections-the-highest-number-for-one-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/oncubanews.com\/en\/cuba\/cuba-with-109-new-coronavirus-infections-the-highest-number-for-one-day\/","title":{"rendered":"Cuba with 109 new coronavirus infections, the highest number for one day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: right;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/oncubanews.com\/contribute\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em><strong>Help us keep OnCuba alive<\/strong><\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">On the third day of November, <a href=\"https:\/\/oncubanews.com\/tag\/coronavirus\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the Sars-CoV-2 virus<\/a> has left a daily record of infections in Cuba: 109 positives, with which the number of patients from March to date reaches 7,144, as reported this Wednesday by health authorities of the Island.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The Island&#8217;s health services and laboratories processed 8,474 samples yesterday, with which Cuba accumulated 874,702 tests in search of the new coronavirus.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">After the last diagnostic tests, all the new cases correspond to Cubans, although only 73 were autochthonous since 36 correspond to imported cases.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"es\" dir=\"ltr\">Se confirmaron 109 nuevos casos de <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/COVID19?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#COVID19<\/a>, para un acumulado de 7 mil 144 en <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Cuba?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Cuba<\/a> <\/p>\n<p>619 casos activos <br \/>613 con evoluci\u00f3n cl\u00ednica estable <br \/>4 pacientes en estado cr\u00edtico<br \/>2 pacientes en estado grave<br \/>129 fallecidos <br \/>6 mil 394 altas m\u00e9dicas <br \/>2 evacuados <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/KeaE625JNk\">pic.twitter.com\/KeaE625JNk<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Ministerio de Salud P\u00fablica de Cuba (@MINSAPCuba) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MINSAPCuba\/status\/1324023102234308608?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 4, 2020<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Of the total of new patients, 69 are contacts of confirmed cases, and the 36 individuals with a foreign source of infection grow the records of cases for Pinar del R\u00edo (in one case), Camag\u00fcey (two cases), La Tunas (three cases), Holgu\u00edn ( 10 cases), Granma (seven cases) Santiago de Cuba (seven cases) and Guant\u00e1namo (six cases).<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The residence by province of the 73 autochthonous cases is the following: Pinar del R\u00edo (34 cases in six municipalities), Ciego de \u00c1vila (27 cases in the provincial capital), Sancti Sp\u00edritus (11 cases in three municipalities), Santiago de Cuba (a case in the main municipality).<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Only in four people the source of infection is not specified.
