Ministerio de Salud P\u00fablica de Cuba (@MINSAPCuba) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MINSAPCuba\/status\/1341833642881003522?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">December 23, 2020<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In a day without new deaths due to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/oncubanews.com\/tag\/coronavirus\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">COVID-19<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, 32 of the patients diagnosed with the coronavirus were contacts of confirmed cases, 80 have a source of infection abroad and it was not possible to determine the source of contagion of 4 of the new cases detected.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Of the 1,049 active cases\u2015the highest number registered since the beginning of the epidemic on the island\u20151,041 (99.3%) present a stable clinical evolution and another eight patients are in intensive care, 6 of them in critical condition and 2 in serious condition.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to the MINSAP report, there were 88 hospital discharges yesterday, with which the number of patients who have recovered from the disease in Cuba amounts to 9,307, which represents 88.6% of total cases.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The island is reaching the end of the year with a very complex epidemiological situation, after exceeding 1,000 patients hospitalized with COVID-19, experts said yesterday during a meeting with President Miguel D\u00edaz-Canel.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"Xoq18jnH4I\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/oncubanews.com\/cuba\/cuba-sobrepasa-los-1-000-casos-activos-de-covid-19-tras-registrar-nuevo-record-diario-de-contagios\/\">Cuba sobrepasa los 1.000 casos activos de COVID-19 tras registrar nuevo r\u00e9cord diario de contagios<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute;
