Of these, 1,263 present a stable clinical evolution, while six are in critical condition and eight are in serious condition, according to the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/salud.msp.gob.cu\/parte-de-cierre-del-dia-24-de-diciembre-a-las-12-de-la-noche\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">most recent report<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from the Cuban Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP).<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"es\" dir=\"ltr\">Se confirmaron 183 nuevos casos de <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/COVID19?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#COVID19<\/a>, para un acumulado de 10 mil 900 <br \/>1250 casos activos <br \/>1236 con evoluci\u00f3n cl\u00ednica estable <br \/>6 pacientes en estado cr\u00edtico<br \/>8 pacientes en estado grave<br \/>140 fallecidos <br \/>9 mil 503 pacientes recuperados <br \/>2 evacuados<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/YiB1OxEPvB\">https:\/\/t.co\/YiB1OxEPvB<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/IL4k9XWtly\">pic.twitter.com\/IL4k9XWtly<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Ministerio de Salud P\u00fablica de Cuba (@MINSAPCuba) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MINSAPCuba\/status\/1342529777308225536?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">December 25, 2020<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As for the 183 new cases, these were detected after studying 12,471 PCR samples. Of these, 173 are Cubans and 10 are foreigners, while 90 have their source of infection outside the country and 93 are autochthonous: 91 contacts of confirmed cases and two with no known source of infection.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">65.0% (119) of the 183 positive cases were asymptomatic, while by age groups they were distributed as follows: 13 under 20 years, 55 between 20 to 39 years, 88 between 40 to 59 years and 27 over 60.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Finally, all the Cuban provinces registered new infections, except for the Special Municipality of Isla de la Juventud.
