The lethality rate of the island is 0.87%.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The new infections, meanwhile, shot up to 825, breaking <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/oncubanews.com\/cuba\/coronavirus-en-cuba-enero-establece-otro-record-de-contagios-diarios-con-los-786-informados-hoy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the record that had been set yesterday of 786 cases in 24 hours<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Havana is once again the most critical territory with its 334 patients diagnosed on Tuesday, when Santiago de Cuba also reported 195 patients and Guant\u00e1namo 95.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ten municipalities in these provinces, along with two in the same number of territories: Ciego de \u00c1vila and Matanzas, concentrate 46.2% of the incidence of the SARS-CoV-2 virus in the last 15 days.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But, in general, 14 provinces have found new infections this time, mostly autochthonous, which constitute the source of transmission of 801 reported cases.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In short, of the 825 infections today, 733 were related to confirmed cases, in 24 the source of infection is located abroad and in 68 the source of infection is not specified.
