
{"id":234443,"date":"2021-02-10T11:46:35","date_gmt":"2021-02-10T16:46:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/oncubanews.com\/en\/?p=234443"},"modified":"2021-02-10T11:46:35","modified_gmt":"2021-02-10T16:46:35","slug":"cuban-government-will-authorize-self-employed-veterinarians-for-pets","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/oncubanews.com\/en\/cuba\/cuban-government-will-authorize-self-employed-veterinarians-for-pets\/","title":{"rendered":"Cuban government will authorize self-employed veterinarians for pets"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Planning Alejandro Gil Fern\u00e1ndez said this Tuesday that of the 127 activities allowed for self-employment, now more than 2,000 can be carried out.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Speaking at the Mesa Redonda TV program, he said that it was not just a change in the list of activities, but something much broader and that includes other measures such as the improvement of the tax system, making flexible the paperwork and the administrative mechanisms to issue authorizations for self-employment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He said that the blockade had had a severe impact on self-employment considering the suppression of cruises, tourism and the effects on travel, all measures that had an impact on private restaurants (paladares) and on the leasing of rooms and homes, among other economic activities.
