On the verge of completing a year in which the WHO declared it a pandemic, <\/span>COVID-19<\/span><\/a> has already produced 300 deaths in Cuba, after <\/span>this Monday, the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) reported<\/span><\/a> four new deaths. Just in February, there have been 84 deaths.<\/span><\/p>\n

This time the victims were four women, two residing in Havana, one from Santiago de Cuba and the other from Guant\u00e1namo; between the ages of 74 and 96 years and mostly contacts of confirmed cases.<\/span><\/p>\n

Regarding their ages, Dr. Francisco Dur\u00e1n has reiterated \u201cthe need to protect the elderly,\u201d because it is known that they are \u201cvery vulnerable.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
