The Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) also reported three deaths, and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/salud.msp.gob.cu\/parte-de-cierre-del-dia-15-de-marzo-a-las-12-de-la-noche\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in its report today<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> highlights the 1,060 discharges, with which the number of recovered reaches 58,610.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Most of the cases owe the infection to the autochthonous transmission (779) of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, 744 were contacts of confirmed cases while 13 acquired the disease abroad.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Regarding higher numbers of COVID-19 patients, by provinces the records are as follows: Havana (437 between autochthonous and imported), Santiago de Cuba (51) and Pinar del R\u00edo (44).<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"es\" dir=\"ltr\">Se confirmaron 792 nuevos casos de <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/COVID19?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#COVID19<\/a>, para un acumulado de 62998.<\/p>\n<p>3956 casos activos <br \/>3885 evoluci\u00f3n cl\u00ednica estable <br \/>30 pacientes en estado cr\u00edtico<br \/>41 pacientes en estado grave<br \/>376 fallecidos (3 en el d\u00eda)<br \/>58610 pacientes recuperados <br \/>2 evacuados<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/Eubxx2w1WR\">https:\/\/t.co\/Eubxx2w1WR<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/9p6kRAbMgF\">pic.twitter.com\/9p6kRAbMgF<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Ministerio de Salud P\u00fablica de Cuba (@MINSAPCuba) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MINSAPCuba\/status\/1371824553081647115?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 16, 2021<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the contrary, Guant\u00e1namo (nine), Ciego de \u00c1vila (seven) and the special municipality of Isla de la Juventud (three) reported the lowest number of infections.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">By incidence rate of the last 15 days, 12 municipalities of Havana, Mayabeque and Pinar del R\u00edo concentrate 45.7% of the transmission and, although nine of them are from the capital, Melena del Sur (Mayabeque), the first on the list, shows a statistic that doubles the rest of the territories with its 1,300.2 per 100,000 inhabitants.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dr. Francisco Dur\u00e1n has once again drawn attention to the ages of the patients, especially due to the high incidence rates in the main risk groups, infants and those over 60 years of age.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At this point, the specificities on the day were: 125 under 20 years of age, 109 of them in pediatric ages and five infants; 242 between 20 and 39; 283 between 40 and 59; and 142 over 60.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The number of hospitalized until midnight fell to 23,140 and, of them, 3,956 were confirmed active cases. Meanwhile, the number of patients in intensive care fell slightly to 71: 30 in critical condition and 41 in serious condition.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The deaths of the day due to the virus were two women and a man who resided in the provinces of Havana, Granma and Santiago de Cuba. Their ages ranged from 69 to 79 years.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With these three fatalities, the pandemic\u2019s death toll now stands at 376 in Cuba, 52 in the first fifteen
