Cuba surpassed the barrier of 100,000 <\/span>coronavirus<\/span><\/a> infections since the beginning of the pandemic, by reporting 1,110 new positive cases at the end of this Friday, a day in which it also lamented the death of 12 people from the disease.<\/span><\/p>\n

The island already has 100,318 diagnosed patients, while the death toll rose to 581, which confirms the rise in mortality from COVID-19 in the country in the current month of April. In addition, in the last 24 hours, 988 discharges were given, with which those recovered reached 93,948.<\/span><\/p>\n

Now 25,030 people are hospitalized in Cuba due to the infectious disease, of them 3,673 are suspects, 15,624 are under surveillance and 5,733 are active cases. Of these active cases, 5,664 present a stable clinical condition, while 69 are in ICUs: 30 critical condition and 39 in serious condition, according to the <\/span>daily report<\/span><\/a> of the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP).<\/span><\/p>\n
