In addition, Dr Francisco Dur\u00e1n lamented the six deaths of the day in his daily television appearance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The deceased, four women and three men, between the ages of 58 and 88, resided in Pedro Betancourt, Uni\u00f3n de Reyes (Matanzas), Rafael Freire (Holgu\u00edn), Aguada de Pasajeros (Cienfuegos), El Cerro, San Miguel del Padr\u00f3n and Guanabacoa (Havana).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Of the new infections, the majority (1,052) are due to autochthonous transmission, 1,032 were contacts of confirmed cases, while there were 31 imported cases, with the majority incidence of Cuban travelers from Russia, Mexico, Spain, Venezuela, Italy, Belgium and the United States.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"es\" dir=\"ltr\">Se confirmaron 1038 nuevos casos de <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/COVID19?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#COVID19<\/a>, para un acumulado de 103524 <br \/>5402 casos activos <br \/>5322 evoluci\u00f3n cl\u00ednica estable <br \/>41 pacientes en estado cr\u00edtico<br \/>39 pacientes en estado grave<br \/>604 fallecidos<br \/>97462 pacientes recuperados <br \/>2 evacuados<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/FoHPYiwcC1\">https:\/\/t.co\/FoHPYiwcC1<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/g7MMMBzDaA\">pic.twitter.com\/g7MMMBzDaA<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Ministerio de Salud P\u00fablica de Cuba (@MINSAPCuba) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MINSAPCuba\/status\/1387044042496638987?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 27, 2021<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition, 10 foreigners tested positive, four Vietnamese and one Italian who acquired the virus abroad, as opposed to three Congolese and two Chadians detected as a result of autochthonous transmission.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">By territories, Havana registered the highest number of cases (717, autochthonous and imported), followed by Matanzas (98), Holgu\u00edn (59) and Santiago de Cuba (59).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Guant\u00e1namo (four) and Las Tunas (one) were the territories with the lowest figures. The special municipality of Isla de la Juventud and the province of Ciego de \u00c1vila did not report cases. Villa Clara, which reported six imported cases, did not have autochthonous cases.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The municipalities that concentrate 45% of the transmission in the last two weeks belong to Havana (nine), Matanzas (two) and Sancti Sp\u00edritus (one). Two of the capital\u2019s municipalities, Old Havana and Regla, have the highest rates with 805.1 and 798.0 per 100,000 inhabitants.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">By age, 132 were under 20 and, within this group, 121 were of pediatric age. In addition: 350 classify between 20 and 39; 403 between 40 and 59, and 198 were over 60.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The number of patients in intensive care rose to 80: 41 in critical condition and 39 in serious condition. Until midnight on Monday, 22,807 people were hospitalized and there were 5,402 confirmed active cases.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With the 1,154 discharges of the day, 97,462 patients have already recovered.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">April leaves 27,248 infections and 179 deaths. With the seven reported today, the death toll from the pandemic on the island now stands at 604 and the fatality rate is 0.58%.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">41.7% of those
