The death toll from this disease is now 644; 219 in April.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Most of the infections are due to autochthonous transmission (1,010), of which 986 were contacts of confirmed cases while in 36 individuals the virus was acquired abroad.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The imported cases are due to Cuban travelers, mostly from Russia, followed by the United States, Venezuela and France. Faced with this reality, sustained for weeks and due to the increase in flights from Russia, Dr. Francisco Dur\u00e1n stressed the need to maximize protection during the trip.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">47% of the transmission in the last fifteen days is concentrated in 10 municipalities in Havana and two in Matanzas. In this period Cuba has an incidence rate of 142.1 per 100,000 inhabitants.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Yesterday, the territories with the most cases diagnosed were Havana (675), Mayabeque (52), Santiago de Cuba (50) and Matanzas (49).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the contrary, Ciego de \u00c1vila (eight) and Villa Clara (five) reported the lowest figures. The Isla de la Juventud special municipality did not diagnose cases this day.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">By age: 184 under 20 years old, 308 between 20 and 39 years old; 358 between 40 and 59, and 196 were over 60.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Until midnight, 21,736 people remained hospitalized, and there were 5,404 confirmed active cases.
