the risks of participating in investment platforms in cryptocurrencies suspected of pyramid scam that are \u201ccharacterized by offering, through misleading advertising on social networks and other platforms, the possibility of making &#8216;sophisticated investments.\u2019\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bc.gob.cu\/noticia\/nota-informativa-del-banco-central-de-cuba\/1144?fbclid=IwAR3bzpdAXKrjAdbB0cyqYLpqjYzsGTyIkRNYtX_T3RnHNhERvPjCDQvhEHk\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The statement mentions<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Mind Capital, Mirror Trading, Arbistar, Qubit Life\/Qubit Tech, X-Toro and Trust Investing\u2014the most popular in the country with tens of thousands of partners\u2014 among the international companies promoting their services in Cuba.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/twitter.com\/BancoCentralCub\/status\/1392963743169011713?s=20<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Central Bank reiterated what President Miguel D\u00edaz-Canel had already warned, that the Cuban government \u201cdoes not promote or approve the operation of these types of companies\u201d and added that \u201cnone of them have license to operate within the national territory.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"Z6gDTJoFLM\"><p><a operations carried out by these entities have \u201clittle or no transparency and are hidden behind an apparently technical phraseology, but void of content,\u201d so it \u201cadvises the public not to get involved in operations of this nature.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It emphasizes that \u201call this, without there being a real economic value or asset to back it up\u201d and adds that there are numerous international experiences of \u201cthis type of scams that culminate in the collapse of the scheme and the loss of investors\u2019 equity, who go on to become victims.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The monetary and regulatory authority of the financial system recognizes that in recent months there has been a considerable increase in the operations of private agents in Cuba that supposedly offer brokerage services for securities and foreign currencies, investment advice and investment management.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"vDhfGioUmh\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/oncubanews.com\/canaldigital\/video\/analisis-economico\/criptomonedas-en-cuba-la-fiebre-del-oro-digital\/\">Criptomonedas en Cuba: la fiebre del oro D\u00edaz-Canel coincide with the complaints, made by users on social networks of which the independent media have echoed, about arrests and confiscation of properties of Trust Investing affiliates in the eastern province of Las Tunas, about which the government remains silent until now.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nor has it commented on the director of Trust Investing in Cuba, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/oncubanews.com\/cuba\/detienen-al-director-en-cuba-de-la-gestora-de-criptomonedas-trust-investing-por-presunta-actividad-economica-ilicita\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ruslan Concepci\u00f3n, who has been detained since the end of last April<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for an alleged \u201cillegal economic activity,\u201d according to complaints from his family on social networks.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight:
