The Cuban soccer team defeated Saint Vincent and the Grenadines 1-0 this Tuesday in their last match for group C in the North, Central American and Caribbean Confederation (<\/span>CONCACAF<\/span><\/a>) qualifying rounds for the 2022 Qatar World Cup.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the Kirani James Stadium, in Grenada, the disciples of Pinar del R\u00edo mentor Pablo Elier S\u00e1nchez dominated the game against an opponent who gave them plenty of space to attack.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Cubans made 14 shots on goal, of which six were between the three sticks. But they only scored one from Pinar del Rio offensive player Maykel Reyes, in the 64th minute, after he entered the field to replace William Pozo, who plays for the Strommen Club in the Norwegian league.<\/span><\/p>\n
