Only five foreigners tested positive.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Regarding the eight deaths due to COVID-19, these correspond to four men and the same number of women, aged between 34 and 75 years and residing in municipalities of Havana, Santiago de Cuba, Camag\u00fcey, Matanzas, Cienfuegos and Granma.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Among them, a 27-week pregnant woman stands out, according to Dr. Francisco Dur\u00e1n in his daily presentation. The specialist highlighted the \u201ctorpid evolution\u201d of the 34-year-old victim, who was hospitalized for 38 days.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Havana (460 infections) and Santiago de Cuba (145) were the territories with the highest number of cases, although the number in Matanzas (95), Camag\u00fcey (94), Mayabeque (71) and Holgu\u00edn (62) also stands out.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The incidence rate in Cuba has risen in the last 15 days to 147.9 per 100,000 inhabitants, and the territories with the highest rates continue to be Havana, Mayabeque and Santiago de Cuba.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Twelve municipalities account for 26% of the transmission in this period and they are from Havana (seven), Mayabeque (three), Pinar del R\u00edo (one) and Santiago de Cuba (one).<\/span><\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/twitter.com\/MINSAPCuba\/status\/1403354070287585281?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1403354070287585281%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&#038;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Foncubanews.com%2Fcuba%2Fcontagios-por-coronavirus-se-elevan-a-1288-en-cuba-las-autoridades-sanitarias-subrayan-incrementos-en-grupos-vulnerables%2F<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Quivic\u00e1n continues to show the worst index, the highest by far in comparison with the rest of the territories: 1,177.8 per 100,000 inhabitants.
