In addition, 15 of the 16 Cuban provinces exceeded 5%, a sign of the dispersion of SARS-CoV-2 throughout the entire national territory.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now, in the 15 months of the pandemic there have already been 157,708 detected cases, while with the 12 deceased reported this Sunday, the death toll from COVID-19 in Cuba stands at 1,087. Those recovered, for their part, reached 149,759, thanks to this Saturday\u2019s 1,027 discharges.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As for those hospitalized due to the disease, they exceeded 30,000 in the last day (30,444), of which 5,511 are suspects, 18,127 are under surveillance and 6,806 are active cases. The country from which the most infected arrived was Russia, with 40.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">By sex, 762 were women and 708 men, while 624 were asymptomatic at the time of their diagnosis.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This time 252 children under 20 years of age were diagnosed with the coronavirus, 232 of them are of pediatric age and 15 are under one year of age. Of the rest, 476 are between 20 and 39 years old; 490, between 40 and 59; and 252 are over 60.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">By provinces, Havana registered 442 cases, while Matanzas (192), Santiago de Cuba (180) and Camag\u00fcey (115) also exceeded one hundred.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now, June exhibits the highest average daily cases on the island since the beginning of the pandemic, with 1,198, while the rate of infected in the last 15 days is 152 per 100,000 inhabitants.
