The U.S.-based <\/span>virtual Katapulk platform <\/span><\/a>will begin offering mobile recharges to the island and also for the Nauta Hogar home internet service.<\/span><\/p>\n

As of April 1, Katapulk will be adding both offers, which \u201care part of the company\u2019s efforts to provide its customers with more options to be in contact with their relatives in Cuba,\u201d according to a note from the company to which <\/span>OnCuba<\/b> had access.<\/span><\/p>\n

This recharge service also aims to \u201coffer the convenience of having an online space to find a greater diversity of products and services that benefit Cuban families,\u201d added the statement, which specifies that for its use and payment users will be able to access the platform (www.katapulk.com) from anywhere in the world and they can be purchased independently in the Katapulk Recharge store, or added as part of a purchase in the market.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cOne of the values \u200b\u200bthat distinguishes the purchase process in Katapulk is the ease with which users can add products from different stores on the platform during a single purchase process. This allows greater flexibility in the composition of orders, which can include, for example, Mercado \u00danico market products, products and services from private businesses in Cuba and now, also, mobile recharges and home internet payment,\u201d it explains about the company.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe comfort and convenience of users who shop with Katapulk is a company priority. For this reason, within the framework of existing regulations, we will continue adding offers that respond to the needs of Cuban families on and off the island,\u201d Hugo Cancio, president of Katapulk Marketplace LLC, confirmed.<\/span><\/p>\n

Katapulk is an <\/span>e-commerce<\/span><\/a> platform based in Miami, Florida, in operation for more than a year, during which time it has grown in the variety of its services and has established itself in the Cuban market. It has a virtual market that makes home deliveries of food products, toiletries, perfumes and more.<\/span><\/p>\n

Katapulk is currently present for 13 Cuban provinces: Pinar del R\u00edo, Artemisa, Havana, Mayabeque, Matanzas, Sancti Sp\u00edritus, Ciego de \u00c1vila, Camag\u00fcey, Las Tunas, Holgu\u00edn, Granma, Santiago de Cuba and Guant\u00e1namo.
