The measure comes into effect as of next Thursday, April 21.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The note released by the government of Havana points out that the purchase restricted to the municipality of residence in stores of said chains is taken \u201ctaking into account the existing situation with the availability of products and with the objective of making the sale more viable, achieving greater equity and therefore reducing the agglomeration of people in establishments.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fgobhabana%2Fposts%2F2838643939769373&amp;show_text=true&amp;width=500\" width=\"500\" height=\"305\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In this way, the products that are marketed in these stores will be controlled and regulated, \u201cwriting it down in the ration book\u201d and verifying the identity card.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The information underlines that in the municipalities where conditions allow it, \u201chouseholds will be linked to the stores and points of sale,\u201d and \u201csales cycles of the controlled products will be organized, in correspondence with the real possibilities of supply and logistics.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Another novelty is that some large shopping centers are limited in the same way.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thus, in the Cuatro Caminos Shopping Center, only the population residing in the municipalities of Old Havana and Cerro will buy; in Carlos III, the population residing in the municipalities of Centro Habana and Plaza de la Revoluci\u00f3n; while in the El Pedregal Shopping Center the population residing in the municipality of La Lisa will be able to make purchases.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The \u201cmunicipalization\u201d method has been alternatively implemented during the pandemic of <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/oncubanews.com\/en\/coronavirus\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">coronavirus<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. In 2020, the Provincial Defense Council (CDP) put it into practice to limit mobility and thus reduce the chances of spreading the virus.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now, the authorities are resorting to it due to the lack of products caused by the serious crisis that the island is experiencing and that, along with various factors, has been exacerbated by the pandemic itself.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This involves stores of the Caribe and Cimex chains.
