There have been two migrant landings in the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/FloridaKeys?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#FloridaKeys<\/a> today. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/q467x3Hkdc\">pic.twitter.com\/q467x3Hkdc<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Samuel Briggs II (@USBPChiefMIP) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/USBPChiefMIP\/status\/1553795024386752518?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 31, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The authorities described one of the boats in which they had arrived as \u201crustic.\u201d No injuries or medical problems were reported among the migrants and, according to Patrol Chief Walter N. Slosar, on his Twitter account, they would be processed for deportation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Attempts by Cuban citizens to reach the United States both by land and by sea have increased significantly in recent months due to the deep economic crisis the island is experiencing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Meanwhile, the Cuban government points to the Cuban Adjustment Act as a reason for citizens from the island trying to reach the United States irregularly by land or sea.
