The Federal Commission for Protection against Sanitary Risks (COFEPRIS), Mexico\u2019s regulatory agency, has decided to authorize the Cuban Soberana 02 and Soberana Plus vaccines for emergency use, the Instituto\u00a0 Finlay<\/strong><\/a> announced in Havana.<\/p>\n

According to the statement, this is part of the National Health Regulation Strategy, which makes it possible to review and give access to the largest number of health supplies, as long as the quality, safety and efficacy of the product is verified.<\/p>\n

As the Reference National Regulatory Authority endorsed by the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), COFEPRIS\u2019 decisions are recognized by various countries on the continent.
