Since the end of January, all travelers entering Cuba must complete an online form with personal and health data, as announced by the Ministries of Transportation and Public Health.<\/span><\/p>\n

The director of Air Transport and International Relations of the Institute of Civil Aeronautics of Cuba, Rita Garc\u00eda, pointed out at the press conference that digital registration can be made 48 hours before the flight and from the <\/span>D\u2019Viajeros<\/b><\/a> platform in which up to now 1.7 million travelers have registered.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe implementation of the form being filled out in advance by the traveler on the online platform minimizes physical contact, reducing their stay in the epidemiological surveillance line and avoiding crowds,\u201d said Carmelo Trujillo, head of the Department of Sanitary Control of the Ministry of Public Health.<\/span><\/p>\n

Through the form, travelers will declare that they have not had a possible close contact with COVID-19 and a QR code will be generated that must be presented during check-in at the airport of origin and upon landing in Cuban territory.<\/span><\/p>\n
