Last week it stopped being considered a global health emergency on the recommendation of the World Health Organization (WHO).<\/p>\n<p>However, Cuban experts warned this Tuesday about a slight increase in cases in the country based on the analysis of forecast models.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Ra\u00fal Guinovart, dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Computing at the University of Havana, reported that the cumulative incidence in the country is two cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the last 15 days, with a tendency to increase.<\/p>\n<p>He added that the provinces of Holgu\u00edn, Granma and Las Tunas increased this indicator in the last week, and form an area where the highest incidence is concentrated, although overall the epidemiological situation of the country is very similar to that of the beginning of 2023.<\/p>\n<p>According to MINSAP\u2019s most recent daily report, until midnight this Tuesday, 35 of the 442 samples analyzed during the day had been positive for the presence of reported, 103 of them suspected of having contracted the disease, although none of them are in intensive care units.<\/p>\n<p>For several months Cuba has not reported deaths related to COVID-19, which
