The presentation, which took place this Friday, June 23 in the Avellaneda Hall of the National Theater of Cuba, could well be classified as the concert of the year.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2022, the material with which X Alfonso pays tribute to the musical legacy of his family has not stopped making news. The critics, the specialized press and, essentially, the public, embraced the initiative that (re)invents the historic Ancestros trilogy, with which S\u00edntesis marked a before and after in the Cuban sound scene.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_271847\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-271847\" style=\"width: 814px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/oncubanews.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/ancestros1-1-1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-271847 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/oncubanews.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/ancestros1-1-1.jpg\" alt=\"Rehearsals of the concert Ancestros Sinf\u00f3nico Live. Photo: taken from the Facebook profile of the F\u00e1brica de Arte Cubano.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>But, beyond the recording and the experience of listening to it, the most important thing that was missing was living it.<\/p>\n<p>While it is true that Cuban radio stations and other international channels have broadcast the songs included on the album over and over again, nothing compares to the experience of enjoying it to a full theater and in front of the explicit talent of the musicians summoned for the occasion.<\/p>\n<p>With a simple set design and an adequate use of light, Ancestros Sinf\u00f3nico Live brought together, with the iconic group directed by Carlos Alfonso, the National Choir of Cuba \u2014 under the direction of maestro Digna Guerra \u2014 and the Lyceum Mozartiano Orchestra of Havana, guided by the irreplaceable teacher Jos\u00e9 Antonio M\u00e9ndez Padr\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_271853\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-271853\" style=\"width: 813px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/oncubanews.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/ancestros2-1-1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-271853 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/oncubanews.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/ancestros2-1-1.jpg\" alt=\"Rehearsals of the concert Ancestros Sinf\u00f3nico Live. Nothing like music made with enthusiasm to arouse good passions, those that minutes after the start of the concert began to flow among the audience.<\/p>\n<p>The night belonged to X, to Carlos, to Eme, to Pepe Gavilondo, an excited pianist, to maestro M\u00e9ndez, to Digna, to everyone. But it was also the night of Ele Vald\u00e9s, whom we saw full of energy, imposing, with a voice that knows nothing of scratches. because \u201cmusic saves us.\u201d That\u2019s how it was, it saved us!<\/p>\n<p>This Saturday, June 24, at 8:00 p.m., the second presentation of the premiere will take place at the same
