In 2018, the young Cuban Christian Manuel Castellano Rangel tried to get into the Guinness Book of Records for his skill in crushing beer and soft drink cans with his back. However, almost six years later, one of his aspirations is to impress the audience of the Got Talent Spain contest.<\/span><\/p>\n

According<\/b><\/a>\u00a0to the newspaper <\/span>Escambray<\/span><\/i>, a few weeks ago Christian communicated via Instagram with the board of directors of the well-known show and with several talent scouting agents. \u201cWe love what you do. We want you here,\u201d they responded from Europe.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIf I get the necessary financing to reach this world-famous event, I will be able to show the world the skills with which I was born and those that I have also managed to build with a lot of effort and I believe that, once and for all, I will be able to transcend,\u201d the young man from Camag\u00fcey and resident in Sancti Sp\u00edritus explained to the media.<\/span><\/p>\n

But Christian hasn\u2019t just settled for crushing cans. If he manages to travel to Spain, the young man from Sancti Sp\u00edritus is preparing a performance for the contest in which he begins by \u201cpulling a colleague\u2019s motorbike, which weighs about 500 kilograms, with his shoulder blades,\u201d says <\/span>Escambray<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n

When he tried, the young man \u201cdiscovered that he moved it easily. When he detected that the Guinness was 1,070 kg, by a boy from India, he tried it with a friend\u2019s mother\u2019s car, which was close to a ton,\u201d the report added.<\/span><\/p>\n

Christian narrates that they added 100 kilograms of weights to the motorcycle and he moved it.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWhat happiness. It was difficult for me because I trained few times and only for one day, but if I had structured the training like the one with the cans, I would have achieved it, I think, with more ease,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p>\n

He affirms that for the moment he is preparing to reach 1,500 kilograms of traction, a task for which he trains with the aim of holding weights with his scapulae and also breaking compact discs, which he does not consider complex, but he believes that \u201cif no one has done it there,\u201d he also intends to \u201cdestroy barriers and limits.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

He <\/span>attempted<\/b><\/a>\u00a0his first mark on May 5, 2019, when he crushed 20 cans in one minute and climbed to 23, 25 and 30, he told the Sancti Spiritus newspaper.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
