However, the experiences of the year that ended are still fresh in our memory; its most relevant events. The images that marked the course of the last 12 months remained in our retinas and personal archives.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Every Sunday in 2024 \u2014 or almost every Sunday, to be precise \u2014 we try to show from this space images of Cuba, its daily life, its places. to little-mentioned neighborhoods such as <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/oncubanews.com\/en\/digital-channel\/gallery\/san-martin-hidden-in-el-cerro\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>San Mart\u00edn<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/oncubanews.com\/canaldigital\/galerias\/enfoco\/el-platanito-de-la-habana\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Platanito<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and other much better-known ones such as <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/oncubanews.com\/en\/styles-trends\/places\/vedado-a-major-shift-in-19th-century-urban-development-in-cuba\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Vedado<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/oncubanews.com\/canaldigital\/galerias\/enfoco\/la-timba-entre-la-leyenda-y-la-realidad\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>La Timba<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">; and to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/oncubanews.com\/canaldigital\/galerias\/enfoco\/de-palacios-castillos-y-museos-de-la-habana-vieja\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>palaces, castles and museums<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in Old Havana.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Through Otmaro\u2019s lens, we visited iconic places such as <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/oncubanews.com\/canaldigital\/galerias\/enfoco\/la-virgen-del-camino-mucho-mas-que-un-monumento\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>La Virgen del Camino<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/oncubanews.com\/en\/digital-channel\/gallery\/toyo-corner-fame-and-shadows\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Esquina de Toyo<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">; we retraced the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/oncubanews.com\/canaldigital\/galerias\/enfoco\/la-calzada-de-bejucal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Bejucal<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/oncubanews.com\/canaldigital\/galerias\/enfoco\/de-camino-por-la-calzada-de-luyano\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Luyan\u00f3<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> roads; we went to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/oncubanews.com\/canaldigital\/galerias\/enfoco\/de-paso-por-el-cotorro\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Cotorro<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/oncubanews.com\/canaldigital\/galerias\/enfoco\/el-camilo-al-este-de-la-habana\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Camilo Cienfuegos neighborhood<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, in East Havana; Photo: Otmaro Rodr\u00edguez.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition, with the photographic guide of our correspondent, we observed <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/oncubanews.com\/canaldigital\/galerias\/enfoco\/los-canones-de-la-habana\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>old cannons<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in Havana, we discovered curious <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/oncubanews.com\/canaldigital\/galerias\/enfoco\/la-habana-enrejada\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>iron gates<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/oncubanews.com\/canaldigital\/galerias\/enfoco\/las-perseverantes-aldabas-de-la-habana\/\"><b>knockers<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in the city; we learned about meetings of Havana <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/oncubanews.com\/canaldigital\/galerias\/enfoco\/emprendedores-cubanos-se-reunen-en-la-habana\/\"><b>entrepreneurs<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/oncubanews.com\/canaldigital\/galerias\/enfoco\/otakus-en-la-habana-vieja-manga-anime-cuba\/\"><b>otakus<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">; and we witnessed <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/oncubanews.com\/canaldigital\/galerias\/enfoco\/danzantes-en-la-habana-vieja\/\"><b>cultural events<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To start 2025 we want to revive that memory.
