In the Best Original Music category is Cuban musician and composer Ulises Hernandez for his creation for the Cuban costarring film The Invention of the Species.<\/p>\n

Professional careers<\/strong><\/p>\n Angie H\u00e9rnandez is a graduate of the Faculty of Audiovisual Media Arts (Famca) and the International School of Film and Television, San Antonio de los Ba\u00f1os, and has a body of work that places her in the credits of the documentaries Tren de la L\u00ednea Norte<\/em>, by Marcelo Mart\u00edn; La m\u00fasica de las esferas<\/em> by Marcel Beltr\u00e1n and \u00d3rgano<\/em> by Rosa Mar\u00eda Rodr\u00edguez.<\/p>\n Along with Patricia Ramos, director of A Night with the Rolling Stones, she has also worked on The Roof, I Love Lotus, and The Anniversary.<\/p>\n Angie also won the award for best sound at the Cear\u00e1 Festival in Brazil for her work on Alan Gonz\u00e1lez’s film La mujer salvaje (The Wild Woman).<\/p>\n Ulises Hern\u00e1ndez, on the other hand, has an immense body of work in Cuban cinema, which has earned him several awards in Cuba and abroad.<\/p>\n His work with director Enrique \u00c1lvarez, for whom he created the music for three of his films, is noteworthy: La ola<\/em>, La caja negra<\/em> and Bajo un sol poderoso<\/em>.<\/p>\n His name also appears behind important titles of our filmography and with other important directors such as Vidas Paralelas by Pastor Vega; La edad de la peseta and El acompa\u00f1ante by Pavel Giroud and Pon tu pensamiento en mi by Arturo Soto.<\/p>\n Platinum Awards 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n Cubans compete in the Platinum Awards against essential names in their specialties.
