His trade war against the rest of the world, fueled by <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/oncubanews.com\/mundo\/ee-uu\/trump-anuncia-nuevo-plan-de-aranceles\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>the recent imposition of global tariffs<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, \u201cwon\u2019t be easy.\u201d That\u2019s why he\u2019s asking Americans to \u201chang tough.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He did so this Saturday in a post on his Truth Social platform.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cHang tough, it won\u2019t be easy, but the result will be historic,\u201d wrote the president, who noted that his tariff measures are \u201can economic revolution.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThis is an economic revolution and we\u2019re going to win,\u201d he said, while suggesting in his usual euphoric and grandiloquent tone that he will bring back \u201cjobs and businesses like never before.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe class=\"truthsocial-embed\" style=\"max-width: 100%; border: 0;\" src=\"https:\/\/truthsocial.com\/@realDonaldTrump\/114285375813275308\/embed\" width=\"600\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><script src=\"https:\/\/truthsocial.com\/embed.js\" async=\"async\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Trump also referred to an investment of \u201cmore than five trillion dollars\u201d and asserted that \u201cthe figure continues to increase rapidly,\u201d although without providing further details.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He also aimed at China again, saying that \u201cit has been hit much harder.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Between resistance and negotiation<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Republican made these statements from Florida, where he was playing golf for the third consecutive day this Saturday, according to the EFE news agency.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He also insisted on his argument that other countries have taken advantage of the United States and mistreated American exports.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">His global tariffs have sparked a wave of reactions around the world, with warnings of rising prices and even a possible recession, while major stock markets have collapsed, including Wall Street.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This new package comes on top of other levies already imposed \u2014 and in some cases postponed \u2014 and the threat of more measures and tariffs on those who oppose the United States\u2019 trade war. Even so, nations like <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/oncubanews.com\/mundo\/asia\/china-responde-a-trump-con-aranceles-pero-tambien-suma-sanciones-y-control-de-tierras-raras\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>China<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0have been quick to announce their countermeasures.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, Trump has already opened the door to possible agreements on the issue, and this Friday assured that he could reach agreements with those countries that offer him \u201csomething phenomenal.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cIf someone says they\u2019re going to give us something phenomenal, as long as they give us something good,\u201d the president said, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/efe.com\/economia\/2025-04-04\/trump-acuerdos-aranceles\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>quoted<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0by EFE news agency.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cTariffs give us great negotiating power. They always have. I used them very well in the first administration.
