About a hundred gems of cars attended last Sunday to a meeting of the \u201cA locubano\u201d (Cuban) Vintage Cars Club in the municipality of Playa, in Havana. The Tenth Rally of Regularity: Castrol 2014 Cup was a celebration of motor vehicles during the summer season that ends on August 30.<\/p>\n

\"The<\/a>
The Rally was a recreational, sports and cultural party for those present last Sunday, August 24, at the park in 3rd Avenue between 0 and 2, in Playa \/ Image: Jhonah D\u00edaz Gonz\u00e1lez.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The vehicles made a tour of 61 kilometers through the main arteries in Havana. Motorcycles and cars arrived in perfect condition, well lubricated; while drivers made their best to resemble Valentino Rossi or Fernando Alonso regarding their outfits.<\/p>\n

However, in this competition drivers don\u2019t go at full speed and pay proper attention to traffic regulations in order to avoid traffic violations.<\/p>\n

A considerable variety of colors, brands and car models andmotorbikes assaulted Havana during the Tenth Rally of Regularity: Castrol 2014 Cup \/ Image: JhonahD\u00edaz Gonz\u00e1lez.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The winners of the Cup in the category of vehicles were pilot Gelasio Ramos and copilot Erick Estrada, who drove a Fiat 600 from 1958. The second place went to David Pe\u00f1a and Day\u00e1n Guti\u00e9rrez (Lada 1971).<\/p>\n

The third position was accomplished by the duet of Carlos Luj\u00e1n and B\u00e1rbara Mart\u00ednez (Triump 1970).<\/p>\n

As for motorbikes, the winners were L\u00e1zaro Gonz\u00e1lez and Eloy J\u00edmenez (Triump 1955), followed by Ricardo Ricardo and Rogelio Juli\u00e1n (Royal Enfield 1954), and then Luis Maginand Jorge Gonz\u00e1lez who rode a Norton from 1954.<\/p>\n
