The Cuban-Italian chocolates producer Stella SA celebrates this year its twentieth anniversary of presence in the Cuban market.<\/p>\n
Stella is a marketer of jams, pastas and pre-mixes. It offers pastry and bakery services and equipments, in addition to their parts and supplies for both the domestic market and for export. It owns the brands Gustazo, Lebon, Ciokito, Dolci Messaggi under which it sells different assortments of jam made from cocoa , such as tablets, chocolates, covers and chocolate powder.<\/p>\n
It has representations of Chocolates Houses in Santiago de Cuba, Camaguey and Santa Clara, where the diversity of its products is exposed. Coinciding with this anniversary, they presented a new product: The chocolates fell from the sky at the recently concluded FIHAV 2014 .<\/p>\n
The cover design of the packaging of these new chocolates was conducted by the artist Zaida del R\u00edo who spoke with OnCuba about this new release.<\/p>\n
“Chocolate has always fascinated me. We know they are a delicacy, a symbol of glamour, sophistication and sensuality so I felt that these products would look good with my work. These cases are inspired in my recent series \u00a8Estaciones\u00a8 (Seasons), made up by the known seasons: summer, autumn, spring and winter. They have the colors of the seasons and also many angels, because it is a topic that I have already worked. Angels appear as an allegory to heaven because I wanted to convey that these chocolates are so rich that take you to heaven or that can be eaten in heaven. Their colors are in accordance with the filling of the handmade chocolates that will be launched to market soon. The summer chocolates are filled with coconut, those from the spring contain milk, the winter ones are full of liquor and of course, dried fruits were chosen for autumn. The cases are also differentiated by their colors: the autumn between ocher and green, summer has very warm colors, winter is blue and spring ranges from pink to red. This is a dream come true, to bring my work to a very special product, typical of our country, so well sold and that everyone loves. “<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
