Buena Fe duo devoted last Saturday its concert \u00a8Una luz por la esperanza\u00a8 (A light of hope) to the Cuban doctors who are waging a battle against Ebola virus in Africa.<\/p>\n
There they sang songs of infinite tenderness, belonging to the musical career accumulated by Israel Rojas and Yoel Martinez in these 15 years.<\/p>\n
Twenty compositions shook the audience gathered at Havana\u2019s Carlos III Avenue (from Boyeros to Infanta streets).<\/p>\n
\u00a8La Muerte\u00a8 (Death), heartbreaking song played by Israel, was a posthumous tribute to Jorge Juan Guerra Rodriguez, collaborator of the Cuban brigade working in North Africa, who died last October at the age of 60, as a result of malaria with cerebral complications.<\/p>\n
Buena Fe also celebrated the recovery of another physician infected with the Ebola virus. They devoted \u00a8Miedos\u00a8 (Fears), single belonging to its album Pi 3.14, to Dr. Felix Baez.<\/p>\n
In an unparalleled evening, the popular artists also sang to young researchers and the Federation of Junior High Students, an organization that precisely this December 6th celebrated its creation anniversary.<\/p>\n
Already in a post vespertine on their profile of social network Facebook, the artists invited their followers to share a unique night: “In a little while we go to the sound-check before the concert. It has rained a bit in Havana, but we never give up. We will celebrate with the Junior High students, young researchers, Cuban doctors, and all the beautiful people who so lovingly accompanies us into good and bad … “They value us by hours of companionship, hope or consolation ‘” .<\/p>\n
And it was truly a night in which Rojas and Martinez invited the attendees to review a repertoire that draws an infinitely unique Cuba, with its lights and shadows.<\/p>\n
Thus, they added to Volar sin ti, Todo el mundo cuenta, La sospecha, Ser de sol, La culpa and many other songs the premiere of Vales, a track that will surely be part of the new phonogram of the group.<\/p>\n
Israel Rojas told OnCuba his joy to meet the promise made to his audience of Havana, when arriving from Miami, last September. “As promised, here is the meeting in an open and free place.”<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Yoel Martinez considered they tried to “make a very different concert, inadvertently revealing everything that our next CD will be. It was an evening that reviewed the songs of our albums and it turned out fun, different to what we have already done. We hope that people who attended the concert to have had a very good time. ”<\/p>\n
