Tarde para Ramon: Documentary by Daniel Chile Premieres in Havana

With the presence of Roberto Smith, president of ICAIC (Spanish acronym of the Cuban Film Institute) and in a room full of people, the independent short film ¨Tarde para Ramón¨, by young filmmaker Daniel Chile, starring Jorge Perugorría and Maydely Pérez, was premiered this weekend at Infanta movie theater. Over three hundred spectators confirmed last Saturday that Daniel Chile’s third short film arrives without trouble or delay to the Cuban young filmmaking panorama through this release. Mirapaká independent production company, which has conducted Daniel’s previous works, received this time the support of Mexican- American Company Beret Films, also in charge of the distribution of the film. According to its own director: "They are trying to distribute it in some festivals in the United States, Mexico and Spain, but first they would like to present it in Cuba in the Young Sample, at Gibara Festival, Almacén de la Imagen Festival ..."
