Since February 2025, Katapulk and deCancio Foods have been holding a high-impact raffle for families in Cuba. So far, more than 250 Havana households have benefited, as Katapulk and deCancio Foods reported in a statement.
Under the slogan “Cross your fingers and win,” the biweekly raffle awards 50 winners with a basket of deCancio Foods products valued at $50.
“Every two weeks, our transportation fleet makes very special deliveries. We bring this gift, which brings joy to everyone, to the doorstep of those who are lucky to win this raffle,” according to the statement from Katapulk and deCancio Foods.

“Every month, one hundred families benefit. Generally, the winners — the majority of whom have been women — show deep gratitude.
“Often, these are people from low- or middle-income families, who appreciate the help these baskets represent more than anyone,” both brands stated.

A simple and transparent process
Participation in the raffle is straightforward and uncomplicated:
- Anyone who makes a purchase on Katapulk.com is automatically entered into that biweekly raffle.
- Alternatively, you can register for free through a prominent banner on the homepage of the Katapulk website.
The results are published promptly on the 16th and 1st of each month on the Katapulk and deCancio Foods social media channels.
Since the launch, more than 400 baskets have already been delivered to approximately 250 winners, according to data shared by the Katapulk.com marketplace.

Much more than products: a human mission
Both companies emphasize that the true value of the raffle lies in “providing a real opportunity for more Cubans to access quality products and feel part of a broad, connected, and supportive community.”
Social media has been the setting where the emotions of the recipients have been most clearly reflected.
Smiling faces, videos of deliveries, and messages of gratitude show how a brand promotion campaign can have a social focus with a profound emotional and family impact.

A special call for Mother’s Day
In light of Mother’s Day, May 10th, Katapulk and deCancio Foods invite users to register their mothers, grandmothers, or maternal figures to participate in this significant date.
