The popular Cuban duo Buena Fe will give a concert in Miami Dade County Auditorium, on September 18th, in which they will pay homage to Cuban cinema.
For the first time the duo of Israel Rojas and Yoel Martinez, composer and lead vocals and acoustic guitar and vocals, respectively, will perform in this city by including trumpet, trombone and saxophone in their band format.
Our music, Israel says on their official website, go with those pictures of Memories of Underdevelopment, The Death of a Bureaucrat, the great Consuelito Vidal, our Miravalles (Melesio); Juan Padrón’s cartoons with his “filthy rat ” and Vampires in Havana.
The audience will hear unreleased tracks, and enliven the human longing that always brings us back to the land where we were born: Cubans, who have never gone away completely, it will be a pleasure to meet again, the artist said.
The musicians accompanied by their band, made up by Dairon Rodriguez (electric guitar), Maikel Perez (drums), Ernesto Cisneros (keyboards), Israel Lopez (bass), and Adolfo (Fito) Martinez (sound), there have been other times in the city of Miami and always successful, especially since the new generations know their job pretty well.
The duo emerged in 1999, and has performed in over a dozen countries and is the only Cuban band with nearly 24,000 followers on social networks. Thanks to their musical quality they have earned the respect of foreign and Cuban public that follows them from anywhere in the world.
