El ISA en la Bienal

Comprender, asimilar y poder constatar la escuela como un gran taller constituye el tema del proyecto colectivo que se inaugura hoy a las 5:00 pm en La Universidad de las Artes de Cuba (ISA). Los estudiantes y profesores exhibirán una muestra de sus obras en los diferentes espacios de la Universidad y compartirán con los invitados charlas sobre el trabajo que ellos realizan.

Según un las informaciones que ofrece la Dirección de Comunicación del ISA:

"Las áreas de la Universidad, y muy especialmente la Facultad de Artes Plásticas, se abren a una expectación interactiva, a un completamiento, concepción básica para Pablo Rosendo, de tercer año, quien ha preparado un juego que permite al espectador trastocar concepciones éticas y morales mientras arma sus propios personajes y cambia a su antojo la historia".

"Por su parte, Wilber Aguilera, de cuarto año, propone otro tanto: recontextualizar íconos de infancia de una generación, la suya. Líder 1 o Voltus 5 regresan en nuevos formatos para maravillar desde los jardines del ISA".

"Una instalación performática ha construido a partir de la utilización de bolsas de plasma Yisel Pons, de tercer año, quien recreará el cuarto de ingreso de un paciente terminal de cáncer a partir de objetos del campo de la ciencia y elementos de uso personal, como pueden ser las fotografías".

Entretanto, el taller de grabado de la Facultad, aunque no abandonará su quehacer regular, exhibirá una serie de obras de estudiantes y profesores de la instalación, y a la par, algunas piezas de reconocidos artistas que comenzaron o incursionaron en el grabado en alguna etapa de su carrera.
