The U.S. government ordered the withdrawal of all its non-essential personnel in its embassy in Cuba after the “acoustic attack” suffered by at least 21 Americans posted on the island and whose responsible causes are unknown, the CNN and CBS chains advanced today.
The order, which will be announced today by the Department of State, also includes the indefinite suspension of the issuing of visas in the embassy in Cuba, according to U.S. officials cited under anonymity by both chains.
In addition, the U.S. administration plans to warn their citizens of the danger of being victims of “attacks” if they travel to Cuba.
