The Cuba blogosphere community already has a digital magazine that now comes to light in the networks. The group of young bloggers in the country is committed to reach as many people as possible and for this, since their meeting at the Martin Luther King Memorial Center last July, they decided to create this regular publication.

In its making work a group of young bloggers, elected by the community, who are responsible for collecting and selecting the texts. With over 10 members from various parts of the country and different professions, this editorial board is coordinated by newly graduated journalist Rafael González Escalona-editor of the blog The Microwave-, who spoke with OnCuba.

“It was agreed to make a digital magazine-for the legal conditions of the press in Cuba we cannot aspire to more, not even that, where to include both the Cuban blogosphere activity and other issues of interest to its members. It doesn’t have preset sections even if we give certain thematic coherence to each issue. “

Due to the continuous interpretations of what the “Cuban blogosphere” is Rafael explains that it refers to “an ecumenical term that includes anyone approaching Cuban life from the blogs.”

Designed entirely to read on a computer, the design stands out for its freshness and the use of the web’s visual resources as the profiles of the different bloggers represented in the publication.

The selection criteria were defined by the editorial team, several meetings and wines or teas in between. According to Rafael, “basically, they will be well-written texts and that were not (extremely) offensive or aggressive to any human group or belief. Beyond that, any text is not excluded a priori, though we always do a process in which we inform the other members of Blogosfera Cuba (not to confuse with Cuban blogosphere) on which we select and listen to any suggestions made by them. “

This publication of Cuban bloggers is a unique experience to date of brotherhood and unity of common interests of people advocates a different, better Cuba, and that from the blogs or participation spaces that gradually emerge, rebuilds and reinvents itself as a much more participatory society.

“The importance that I see is the same that I can see to any social group that articulates a coherent speech and make it visible, Rafael González-Escalona says, no matter whether they are bloggers, taxi drivers, or Seventh-day Adventists. That is, make conversation among a group, and attempt a greater dialogue between that group and the rest of society is a precious adventure. If to this is added that they are trying to move discussions to a universe almost unknown to millions of Cubans such as the Internet, it is understood that a magazine like this could be a beautiful utopia. “

Alejandro are you from Cuba?are you living in Cuba or you living in Miami?.
I yes asking that, because in Cuba not to many people got access to the web,if you living in Cuba the Internet is limited only for a little part of the population. You even can asking to the Cuban people in any streets of the Havana,What is goggle?and you will got a question, what is that?
The true is not easy to digesting, but the Cuban people don’t have access to even Dishnetwork or DirectTV or any media whit not permission of the government of Cuba. They control all comunications and censuring any cain of inconvenient” true”.But sometime why got people’s than living outside the island and dreaming living in the island of Cuba, but whit a freezer full whit food and full access to Internet, defending or ignoring the real life of the 99% of the Cuban people in the island of the paradise ,for only 1% of the Cubans and the tourist or Yumas.
