The richness of Cuban culture, events that mark the history of the country, the economic, the daily life and traditions, are topics of interest for OnCuba that continues to put its eyes on Cubans.

More than just magazines, OnCuba is a communication platform that functions as a sort of bridge between the so-called two shores.

During the afternoon yesterday in FIHAV 2014, in the Business Round Room at Expocuba Fairground, the presentation of the communication platform and exhibition of projects and updated statistics from its president Hugo Cancio, took place.

Currently the ArtOnCuba and OnCuba printed magazines are distributed at Barnes And Noble stores throughout the United States, Hudson News and Books and Books in Florida.

“OnCuba continues to expand its horizons, in less than two months on top of the magazine we have on board of flights from the art magazine and digital magazines, we will have other publications on the real estate market in Cuba. The website is visited daily by thousands of people from all over the world but people from the United States and Spain are the ones that consume it the most. Our website is constantly transmitting the news of Cuba at the time they occur, “said Cancio.

“Now we launch OnCuba Travel which is a platform that allows Americans to travel to Cuba. And a platform OnCuba Money Express for sending remittances from the US to Cuba. To complement these actions we will also be launching a TV show: Cuba OnCuba filmed in the Island with a cultural approach. In addition to the two existing print magazines, in the months of March and April 2015 communication platform will present our new magazine OnCuba Real Estate, specializing in economy and real estate market. It will be a kind of guide for investment in Cuba, aimed primarily at the US corporate sector, “added the also president of the Fire Media Group Inc.

Debora de la Paz, editor of the art magazine, presented the publication that she represents and the ArtOnCuba website. Shee pointed to the specific publication that is a year and a half old and six numbers has positioned it as a leader in the Cuban visual arts.

Commercial Director Hai Fajardo shared her experiences in the commercial area in which it operates. ‘It is a challenge to maintain such an expensive project, working with institutions and the private sector that is flourishing in Cuba. Our platform is the strongest that has been forged between the US and Cuba with the hard work of nearly three years. OnCuba is open to all Cuban businesses that have vision and are aware of the present we are living in the island. In the early days of next month for the first time a publication on Cuban visual arts will participate in the Art Basel Miami Beach fair, the most important art fair in the United States, surpassed only by Basel Switzerland, “she said.
