You can climb the Turquino Peak (1974 meters above sea level) through two paths: a steeper from the province of Santiago de Cuba and a longer but easier from Granma. If you do it from Santiago you can go up and down in a day, at a good pace it will take you some twelve to fourteen hours. By from Granma it will take you two days to reach the top.
